SIBERIA & BONAPARTE is a thriller drawing on my 35 years’ experience designing classified communication, intelligence, and anti-terrorist computer systems for the Department of Defense (DoD), and US Intelligence Agencies. As required with my Security Clearance, the DoD has cleared this manuscript for public release.
Sam sees herself as a small-town tomboy. Others see her as a supermodel. Her CIA partner sees her as a walking contradiction.
Abandoned as a baby and living in over a dozen foster homes, she learned early, only she could protect herself. Now, a Black Belt and crack shot, she fears no one, and has her dream job at CIA She likes fruit and yogurt; her partner prefers pastries. She runs marathons; he takes a cab. She’s a feminist, he’s a playboy. But their partnership works.
CIA intercepts a message to a Russian spy in NYC. They’re meeting the international assassin known as Bonaparte. A kill is imminent. But who and when are unknown. Sam and her partner must ID the assassin, determine the target, and stop the kill, all without announcing they’re CIA. So much for plans. While doing this, Sam must deal with 2 rapists, a mugger, a molester, a second unknown assassin, her partner’s complaints, and close a four-year-old case.
But this is Samantha, the nicest girl you’ll ever meet who can ruin your day. Plus, she found the cutest heels with matching purse at JFK.
